Over the decades, CTE’s commitment to quality and driving progress propelled it to become one of the orthopedic industry’s leading contract manufacturers of spinal rods.
Founded in1950, CTE quickly established itself as a leader in broaching services acrossNorthern Indiana. By 1963, the company had firmly secured its position in the region-and by 1989, expanded into the spinal implant market while maintaining a strong presence in automotive broaching.
By the early 2000s, CTE had transitioned exclusively to medical device manufacturing. Today, as part of SpiTrex Orthopedics, CTE continues to craft high-precision manufacturing solutions for the Spine, Trauma and Extremity markets — driven by the same dedication that shaped our beginnings.
